*While high-end laptops are nothing new, Dell's Inspiron XPS and Alienware's Area-51m both let you upgrade the graphics card, a first for laptops.
*Although these are technically laptop systems, the weight (roughly 10 pounds), battery life (one hour, if you're lucky) and heat (as high as 100 degrees) mean you'll want to keep your system on a table with the power cord plugged in while you're using it.
